I offer counselling from a non-religious, humanist perspective. I seek to create a safe space for you to unfold in, to "become who you are".
You may wish to explore how events in the past have shaped your life. You may wish to explore how well, or how badly, your choices have worked out.
None of us are perfect. Each of us is flawed in their own unique way. Working on understanding, and accepting, our own and others' imperfect selves enables the building of better relationships. We become more tolerant, more forgiving (of both ourselves and others), more courageous about being vulnerable and wiser about when to be cautious.
With that in mind, in counselling we come together to work on understanding you and your life, and how you'd like to improve it.
"The searching for our selves is the most agonizing, isn't it? - and yet the most stimulating - and one simply cannot escape it". - Karen Horney
